Ujaagar Art is immensely honoured to be a part of Art Beyond Sight which is a noble initiative undertaken by Ujaagar Art, Being Sevak Charitable Trust and Shreerang Charitable Trust.
The initiative aimed at expressing gratitude to our courageous soldiers and warriors who’ve endlessly worked through their duties and ensured we were safe in our homes while they were away from theirs. An 18 feet installation of Tiranga was created from miniature origami houses which were made by visually impaired students. Each house had a thank you message for all our brave warriors.
These students were trained by Sumit Sanjay Patil who specializes in how to teach mentally and physically challenged people using visual communication. He had received the prestigious Balakrinshan Award from former President of India, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and one of his films received over 25 national awards.
